As a base for safari game drives to the best game reserves in Northern Kenya, such as Solio Game Ranch (20 min), Ol Pejeta (40 min), Samburu National Reserve (2 1/2 hours), and of course for trekking or hiking in Mount Kenya National Park, Glamping Kenya Lodge -hotel in Nanyuki- is ideally located.
Glamping Kenya Eco Lodge – Hotel in Nanyuki, is directly run by a Belgian couple, Erwin Tecqmenne and Christel Verhelst. They sold their belongings in Belgium in April 2022, in order to make their dream come true in Kenya with these funds, where they have been "child at home" for a very long time.
Erwin and Christel even started their studies in African Studies and the Kiswahili language in the year 2000 and successfully completed them at the University of Leuven in Belgium.

Glamping Kenya Lodge has 7 luxury tents of 50 m² each with bathroom and private terrace, and offers a view of the 5199 meter high Mt. Kenya, Aberdare mountains and Ol Pejeta where you can find the 2 very last white rhinoceroses of the Northern race.
• In our Hotel in Nanyuki we have a very refined kitchen. Our Chef Francis will serve you different dishes from Thai, French, Italian, African and Indian cuisine.
• In the cozy restaurant of Glamping Kenya Lodge - hotel in Nayuki- Chef Francis will also provide a variety of fish and meat dishes, but also vegetarian and Hallal dishes will be available on request.• After the busy activities of the day, it is possible to catch up with a nice alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink in our cozy bar or at the heated swimming pool. Our Bartender Alexander specializes in serving special Cocktails and Mocktails made with our own herbs from the garden of our Glamping-Kenya Lodge-Hotel in Nanyuki.
